And it’s back up!

Post fireworks it seems to be around 25-30 mins. Based on how far people moved during the Cadaver Dans set. Cadaver Dans were excellent.
I can also recommend the sweet and spicy beignets.

Posted time on HM 35 mins, took about 30 including ride time. I would say that for all but the shortest posted waits they are including ride time and rounding up tonight.

Do you know what time does the Jack and Sally meet and greet started? It’s usually around 4.30, ain’t it?

Interesting to see Country Bears is open during the party. In the past it was a candy stop.

Maybe because it’s a new show?

Last year it opened right at RD. A couple minutes after 4pm. I ran there to do the meeting as soon as I got in the park

Yeah thanks, I read your trip report. But I’ve read somewhere (yesterday) from 7 to 12, and I had doubts. We will be at the park before the party crowd, so I don’t know whether to queue at 3.15ish, or never :joy:

Same here, I am going in September and I was thinking to queue as soon as I get my wristband (going to the park in the morning but no early entry). But my friends don’t want to queue long, so not sure. Maybe. So in your opinion, it is better to do last shows instead of the earlier ones and use the time to do characters/attractions? My friend was suggesting doing both second parade and last hocus pocus, but not sure

If you can keep watching as many vloggers as possible over the next couple of parties. The first night is always a live “dress rehearsal”. They may alter things as they host more nights.

I did see that the Encanto meeting moved during the night during the fireworks. They left Fantasyland and moved to the Liberty Square gazebo.

So, they are always adjusting things the first couple of parties.

The later shows and 2nd parade are habitually less attended. The park is busy all night until after 10pm. However, a lot of characters stop coming out after 10pm. They all stop at 11pm.

If characters are a priority don’t wait too late into the night

My full run down:

I didn’t tour the party as I would have liked to because my OH was feeling unwell and didn’t want to do much, so we generally front loaded with those things.

We arrived at the park at 2.45 and went to guest relations to sort a problem from the day before. Then we did ETWB and LM and a big top meet and greet before dinner at the Plaza at 5. We did not have any of the party special food, but the table next to us ordered all the special items. They took pics of them all, had a bite of each and then left. It was exceedingly wasteful.

After dinner we checked in at Tortuga treasures where we got bags, M&Ms and a map. Do not tighten your wristband, you will end up having to be cut out of it.

We wandered round to Space Mountain, which I really enjoyed in the dark. While I was in there, my OH watched the Descendance party. He does not know the franchise and the whole event was lost on him. Apparently there was a lot of “What’s my name?” To which he was thinking “I have no idea”.

We then headed over to POTC, which didn’t have any special features for the party in the ride or queue but there were pirates wandering around the area.

We walked past a number of queues, the longest of which were for popcorn buckets and sippers. Saw some party specific merch in the shops but weren’t tempted.

Crowds were building for the first parade so we nabbed a spot outside HOP. We got a decent spot with only one layer of adults in front of us about 25 mins before the start. I think it is still too light at the early parade time and it wasn’t so spooky. I would suggest going for the later one for the next couple of weeks.

We were so hot when it finished we immediately went to Sleepy Hollow for drinks. We were warned when we joined the queue that they were out of sippers. This probably explained why the line was less than 5 mins.

Having got drinks the only other thing my OH wanted to do was the show, so we went and staked out a spot behind a trash can, which gave us a decent view. The crowds for that first show were uncomfortable, again I would recommend a later one.

Went for a photo pass in the hub after the show with about 5 mins wait. Then OH went back to the hotel and I hung around for the fireworks. Crowds were not bad at all for these. There was plenty of space in the hub and I got a spot behind a group of short people. The show was excellent.

I then decided food was needed to help me stay awake, so went over to golden oak outpost. I wanted both the sweet and spicy beignets and the chocolate caramel tart, but they were out of the latter (which saved me from myself). The Beignets were delicious.

Went to see the Cadaver Dans next, scoping out the Aladdin queue en route. Then followed that with a visit to Constance at the HM. Crowds were building for the second parade at that point and by the time I came out of the ride it was basically a walk on.

I used the opportunity to get the HM photo pass pic with zero (15 mins wait). Then walked straight in to a trick or treat spot at CHH. I then raced the parade down main street. My longest wait of the night was for the bus back to Boardwalk!

This would be me :joy:

Thank you for a great summation.

I’m sad they run out of food. about what time would that have been, do you think?

DD would love to meet Zero! Thank you for that info.

Zero is a magic shot rather than meet and greet but still very cool.
I went to Golden Oak outpost straight after the fireworks, I can’t say how long they would have been out of tarts for. I would imagine they ran out of things faster last night than they would normally, because of all the influencers who only wanted one bite of everything!
