I don’t recall seeing this abbreviation before … I’m afraid to even guess. ![]()

I assume it is not Ohio. ![]()

Other Half! He’s too old to be my BF and not my DH.
Ok thank you for the clarification! ![]()
One of the possibilities that came to mind was “other husband.” ![]()

I figured it wasn’t that but no judgment. ![]()

Quick summary from me! We did keys to the kingdom from 9:30 -2:30, then Buzz, Tron, Tiana and trained it back to the front to catch the monorail back to the Contemporary. It rained off and on between 5-7 and so we didn’t come back to the party until 7:30. Our focus was on special Halloween stuff. We sat in on Monsters Inc a bit and then went to find a parade spot. We ended up by the liberty bell standing behind a plant, kind of on the corner. Kind of a terrible place because we could hear multiple songs at once, but oh well.
We mobile ordered at Sleepy Hollow (did not want the sipper). They appeared to be out of the Leota candle push pop and ate by there.
A little after 9, we showed up at the fireworks party, ate dessert, and watched fireworks from the viewing area. We looked around a bit at Memento Mori and then went to look for Gaston. He was not on the character list or map but we had seen that he was appearing on map in the utilidoor so we met him. We did some special photopass photos near the carousel. We hunted for Cinderella’s step sisters, eventually found their location, and then waited about 10 min for them and their mother. Then we walked over to the Descendants show, rode people mover and then walked out of the park around 11:50 and got to our room at 12:05. I’m now spoiled and will only want to stay at the contemporary for late night MK events.
Adding some of my details here. Will post about some LL insights later on in the advanced LLMP thread.
(Note: weather was between raining and not the entire night. That might affect these times.)
I focused mainly on rides during the party. Felt like I had plenty of time, and I did so much. Waited maximum 30ish minutes (no more than 40 I recall) on any of these.

Biggest contribution/note I found:
We arrived at MK at roughly 3:40 to a crowd outside of the taps. CMs started allowing people to tap in at ~3:50ish but kept the people between the taps and the main gate. Practically right at 4:00pm they allowed guests into the park directly to get their MNSSHP candy bag and first candy.
At ~5:20 we decided to head over to Tiana’s assuming that there would be a long line of people already waiting. Surprisingly, there wasn’t that many party people waiting. We had started a small line when one CM started saying that “We won’t allow party members to enter before 6:00pm and we encourage you to check out other areas of the park” (Essentially, don’t make a line and get out of this area lol. I think they even said as much.) We got out of our “line” but decided to stay around the area, and good thing we did. A different CM member (wearing something different) came by the front area and allowed party members to start going in at roughly 5:40pm. What they ended up doing was having MNSSHP people start a queue post-tap in area, but in a holding configuration with a leading CM defining stop points. From there they moved us slightly forward a bit at a time until eventually we were in the ride queue. First people in line probably boarded a little before 6:00pm.
My optimal plan is for the later parade, knowing I’ll need to watch the radar and pivot to the early parade if weather could impact the late one. So:
10 pm fireworks, 10:35 pm castle stage show, 11:15 pm parade.
Is there a spot where I can easily adjust to see all 3 things well? This is my first party and I don’t know how crowded it will be near the hub.
Is the answer different if I’m staking out my spot 30 minutes early versus 15 minutes?
Hoping you get an answer!
It’s really tight! The hub will be INSANELY packed for the fireworks. Once they are done you’ll have a little more space to try to get closer to the stage. However, a lot of people will just stay put to catch the show.
You really need to be at your parade spot AT LEAST 30 minutes before it starts to be “on the rope”. Otherwise, you’ll have people in front of you the entire parade.
Would you be open to the idea of 10pm fireworks, getting to a parade spot by 10:45pm and then seeing the final Hocus Pocus stage show at 12am?
The last stage show is often completely empty. You can walk right up to the stage area most of the time for that show. You wouldn’t have to hurry or try to be early to find a viewing spot
Definitely open to it, although I was considering hopping in the Tron SB line last thing because my party buddy hasn’t ridden it yet. But, she loves Hocus Pocus, so the stage show will win out in the end.
How early do I need to get a fireworks spot? I’d like to be near Casey’s (I know there’s a VIP area there that may or may not be occupied). My plan from there would be heading towards Diamond Horseshoe/Liberty Tree Tavern to watch the parade. If the parade passes by 11:40 I might be able to fit in HM then the stage show???
The closer you are to the hub, the earlier you need to get there to get a clear view. I was solo and got there about 20 minutes before the show. It was pretty miserable. I managed to squeeze up to the the middle area by Casey’s & Crystal Palace, but had a partially obstructed view.
Trying to get any closer was impossible. It’s packed shoulder to shoulder. Basically, everyone in MK stops what they’re doing to see the fireworks
This is another event that is impacted by weather. Rain and/or a wet stage can cancel the show.
Has anyone peeked the lines for popcorn buckets? It doesn’t look like they’re on mobile order (Booo). Trying to fit that in too.
Between the party happenings and the weather this planning is a little intimidating!
Yeah… There’s really no way to do “everything” in one night. It’s such fun though!
When it comes to the weather, it’s always a gamble in Orlando. Plan for the best and be ready with a back-up plan / things you can be “OK” not doing.
GL!!
Thanks for this map @Jeff_AZ - it was super helpful on my trip last week!
